History Description
This early 19th century Georgian style frame house was constructed for Richard Gapper, a Tory supporter with social connections to the Family Compact. Originally located on Yonge Street this dwelling has moved a first time, in late 1950s to Duncan Avenue and then a second time to its present location. The two storey home has a large tent-roof verandah that gives the house a Regency flavour.
