Originally built as a 1 ½ storey workers cottage, this home was enlarged to support a full second storey sometime between 1900 and 1920. The building is a good example of vernacular farmhouse that maintains many of its original features, including the vertical wood siding, two over two windows and much of its interior trim. The house, once located at 9782 Kennedy, was one of the last remaining homes in the community of Colty's Corners.
