History Description
Originally constructed of unburned clay brick in the Georgian Cottage style, this house was later covered with wood siding. The verandah and gothic window style are recent restorations of the originals, based on a historic photograph. John Jacob Lunau inherited the land on which this house first stood (8030 Warden Avenue) from his father Joachim, one of the original Berczy settlers.
