The operations was purchased by John Brunskill in 1844, who renamed the McNab mills. Pomona Mills after the ancient Roman goddess of fruit and gardens. This was likely the home of the mill operator, who lived within view of the business he managed. The exteriar finish is stucco, probably applied over soft local brick. Old photographs and illustrations of the house show 6/6 wood windows and a cross and bible front door.
