History Description
Built as a two-family cottage by John Ramsden, Head Miller at Pomona Mills, which was located in the Don River Valley near the site of the Shouldice Hospital. At some time around 1940, Mrs. Grantham bought the house and made it into the single-family dwelling it remains today. Date is uncertain for subsequent one-storey rear extension.
